SUMMER LEARNING SESSIONS
Stanly County Schools will offer a 6-week learning recovery and enrichment program this summer for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. School sites for the program will depend on the number of students registered. These sessions will be offered in person only as face to face instruction. There will not be a virtual option for this program.
The focus for kindergarten through second grade will be on reading and math.
The focus for third through eighth grade will be on reading, math, and science.
The focus for grades nine through twelve will be end of course instruction, credit recovery, and an elective course.
Sessions will be held Monday through Thursday from 8am to 3pm starting on June 14 and ending on July 29.
There will not be any sessions held from July 1 to July 12 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
If you are interested in your child attending summer learning sessions, please visit the Stanly County Schools webpage or Facebook page to complete a short survey so we may plan for the number of students who may take advantage of this opportunity. Please submit your survey by May 7, 2021.
