Due to the National Weather Center issuing a winter storm watch effective 1 PM on Friday, Stanly County Schools will be closed for students on January 10, 2025, due to the predicted impacts on travel and infrastructure. All school activities are cancelled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. School buildings will be open for 10, 11, and 12-month staff who want to come in for an optional workday with the option of closing early should weather require.
